Document Sharing Function
When I try to share a PowerPoint file from a PC that has PowerPoint 2013 installed on it, the message "Conversion to HTML failed" is displayed and the file cannot be shared.
In PowerPoint 2013, the capability of saving files in their conventional Web format (html, etc.) was lost, so if you try to share a PowerPoint file with "Convert file to HTML", the message "Conversion to HTML failed" is displayed and the file cannot be shared. Solutions to the HTML conversion issue are as follows.
- Use a PC with PowerPoint 2010 or lower installed.
- Save your PowerPoint file as an image file (jpg or gif). In this case, the file will need to be saved one page at a time.)
- In PowerPoint 2007 or lower, save the file as a web page and share it.
